Arthell D. Davis, Vice President of Group Division
Arthell D. Davis “Art”, joined NCML in November of 2000 as an Assistant Vice President and is currently the Vice President of Group Operations. He is primarily responsible for managing NCML’s position in the group marketplace, and is heavily involved in developing new corporate business strategies. In addition, Art is instrumental in establishing and maintaining key business partnerships to support the group marketing effort. He also maintains his active producer’s license in Illinois.
Prior to joining NCML, Art spent twelve years at CNA in various roles. Art’s career began with group Life and Health underwriting leading to his appointment as Director of Group Life and Accident Reinsurance in the Group Re Strategic Business Unit. In this capacity he was involved in various Special Risk and Accident and Health related product lines, while also developing client relationships and products. In addition, Art was frequently involved in interfacing with professional insurance peer organizations throughout the United States. While at CNA, Art played a critical role in helping NCML establish and maintain a direct group life initiative.
Return to TopNicole Davidson, Director of Group Underwriting and Administration
Nicole Davidson joined NCML in November of 2000 as the Director of Group Underwriting and Administration. She is responsible for managing and maintaining all Group Life and AD&D underwriting and overseeing administrative activity. In addition, she is knowledgeable in applying general product and underwriting practices for financial assessment of various product lines offered by NCML. She is also charged with maintaining and developing client relationships, both new and existing. Nicole also maintains her active producer’s license in Illinois.
Before joining NCML, Nicole was employed at CNA for five years. Her career began in the Direct Group SBU as an underwriter, and eventually as a Reinsurance Consultant on the Life and Accident Unit in the Group Re area. There she was responsible for managing client relationships and maintaining profitability of the existing case load through pricing, reserving and general financial analysis. In addition, Nicole performed all supporting underwriting and provided administrative guidance for NCML, while at CNA.
Gordon Davidson, Group Product Manager
Prior to NCML, Gordon worked at CNA for 7 years in various actuarial roles, for the Group Operations Department. He began working with NCML in January 2003 as an actuarial consultant, primarily responsible in assisting in the actuarial evaluation, underwriting and pricing of the NCML Student Accident and Sickness block of business. In August 2004 he was hired as a Group Product Manager and has been working on Assumed Group Life Reinsurance business as well as monitoring all lines of group business and developing new products. Gordon also maintains his active producer’s license in Illinois.
