AVAILABILITY
NCML offers these offers Group Life and AD&D plans in over 20 states using our policy forms. We also offer these products through Strategic Partnerships, which allow us to reinsure a portion of the insurance risk on products underwritten by large A-rated companies.

Disability Insurance

To meet the needs of employers and better serve their employees, NCML seeks alliances with trusted and experienced partners to expand its product offerings and provide greater options for companies wanting to offer effective benefits options to their employees.

NCML and Harleysville Life have come together to provide clients expanded access to group disability products: Long Term Disability and Short Term Disability – with service that is intimate and responsive.

Group Dental Insurance

NCML offers employer groups a range of Dental programs. Even the most economical plans provide coverage for Preventive, Maintenance and Diagnostic services. Additional services are often part of a Dental program, including coverage for

  • Major services, such as root canals and crowns
  • Orthodontia for dependent children.

EMPLOYEE HEALTH AND SATISFACTION
Employee surveys show high satisfaction levels for Dental benefits. Employees like programs that are economical, and employers understand the advantages of offering employees a plan that helps to insure the overall health of the individual.

A healthy mouth contributes to everyone’s overall health, and dental exams may detect underlying health issues that can help prevent infection, heart disease, and other circulatory problems. A good Dental plan encourages employees and their dependents to get regular check-ups and stay healthy.

NCML works closely with a select few Dental service companies to offer optimal products and services to our clients and members. Combining Dental expertise, knowledge of local markets, and a commitment to service, these partnerships complement NCML’s group Life and other products. Through these relationships, NCML delivers flexible plan designs, ensures prompt service and claims payments, and supports the use of proven benefits advisors.

PRICING AND RATING
Dental plans are offered through fully insured group policies. Most employers with fewer than 200 eligible employees will find affordable programs that meet their needs and expectations by selecting from a set of standard benefits and rates. Larger employers - and those with an existing plan with a solid rate and experience history - can take advantage of customized pricing and benefit designs.

DENTAL INDEMNITY PLANS
Indemnity plans offer a range of deductibles and coinsurance levels, a selection of Categories for covered expenses, and annual maximum options. These programs allow members to use any qualified dental provider and pay benefits for covered expenses based on Usual, Customary, and Reasonable fees.

DENTAL DISCOUNT AND PPO PLANS
In addition to Indemnity plans that provide payments based on Usual, Customary, and Reasonable provider charges, NCML offers Discount and PPO plans.

Discount and PPO plans offer the advantages of dental provider networks. Under these plans, a member may use the services of a provider listed in the provider directory – claims are submitted directly to the Administrator by the provider.

ADDITIONAL DENTAL PLAN FEATURES

  • Annual Maximums apply to Type I, II, and III services
  • A separate Lifetime Maximum applies to Type IV services
  • An annual deductible applies to Type II and III services
  • Type IV services are optional - selected by the employer (minimum of 25 employees)
  • Each category of Dental service has a specified coinsurance, e.g. 80%-20%, which expands plan flexibility
  • Type I services are recommended at 100% coinsurance and with NO deductible to promote the member’s use of preventive services - and therefore a healthier mouth
